Orioles can help American workers

Having just read John Angelos' comments regarding the working class and the economy ("O's VP John Angelos: 'ball game irrelevant' when compared to poor's plight," April 26), I'd like to make a point. If the sons of billionaire Major League Baseball team owners who make their money from the American fans are so interested in helping the economy, why don't they insist upon all uniforms and fan apparel be made in the United States?

With the money they make from the public, they can afford to pay the few dollars more it may cost. Why blame the government which has its hand in this problem when they can do something about it? I'm not just talking baseball but all sports.
