Winifred T. Roloson, a homemaker and former sales associate at Talbots clothing store, died of complications from dementia May 9 at Victory Centre of Bartlett, an assisted-living facility in Bartlett, Ill.
The former Lutherville resident was 97.
The daughter of Roland T. Talton, a Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive engineer, and Anna Crockett Talton, Winifred Talton was born and raised in Pocomoke City, where she graduated from Pocomoke High School.
She studied nursing at Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia.
In the late 1930s, she married Elliott W. Marshall Jr., a developer, who died in 1971. Her second husband, John Roloson, died in the 1980s.
Mrs. Roloson had lived in Mount Washington and later in Lutherville. She had been a sales associate at the Talbots store in Hunt Valley, family members said.
Mrs. Roloson had been an active member of the Women's Eastern Shore Society of Maryland and an active communicant of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter in Lutherville.
She had lived in Bartlett for the last decade.
Services are private.
Mrs. Roloson is survived by her son, the Rev. Elliott Wallace Marshall III of Bartlett; a sister, Bonnie Talton Duke of Clermont, Ga.; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
