She was a lifetime member of St. James Episcopal Church and was among congregants who moved from the church’s former location at Park Avenue and Preston Street to Lafayette Square.
She was a member of the church’s Saint Agnes Guild, the church vestry and parish council. She also sang in the junior choir and taught Sunday school and at a summer program.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James, Lafayette and Arlington avenues.
Survivors include a son, Steven C. Flint of Baltimore; a brother, the Rev. Dr. Robert Bennett of Cambridge, Mass.; and a sister, Audrey Pinkney of Baltimore. Her husband of 53 years, James William Flint, died in 1999. A son, James Robert Flint died in 1959.
