Joseph F. Radomsky Jr., a retired truck driver and a sports fan, died Sunday of cancer at Franklin Woods Center in White Marsh.
The Essex resident was 72.
Mr. Radomsky was born in Baltimore and raised in Highlandtown. He attended city public schools and briefly served in the Navy in the mid-1950s.
A longtime local truck driver, Mr. Radomsky worked for Anchor Trucking and later USF Red Star until his 2001 retirement. He was an active member of Teamsters Local No. 557.
He was a Ravens and Orioles fan and had been a former longtime member of the Little Beavers Club, a Highlandtown social club.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Conkling Street and Foster Avenue.
Surviving are a daughter, Danielle R. Frederick of Nottingham; two stepsons, Mark Johnson of Baltimore and James Marion of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Donald Radomsky of Essex, James Radomsky of Dundalk and Robert Radomsky of Baltimore; and a sister, Jean Bundy of Baltimore. His marriage to the former Mary Murray ended in divorce.
