Amy Schumer rules the world

Who knew Towson University could be such a fertile breeding ground for comedy? Schumer, Class of ’03, has been a comedic favorite for years, but 2015 is easily her annus mirabilis. She hosted the MTV Movie Awards and an episode of “Saturday Night Live,” was named to both Time magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People and Barbara Walters’ list of the 10 Most Fascinating People, and even posed partially nude for a Pirelli calendar. Oh, and there was her first starring role in a movie, “Trainwreck,” which grossed more than $110 million at the U.S. box office. Yeah, we’d say she’s doing all right for herself.
