It may feel like it has been much longer, but the freezing temperatures expected overnight last night are the first in Baltimore since March 11 hit a low of 28 degrees. Before that, lows were at or below freezing five times this month, bringing the month’s average low to 44 degrees.
That’s typically the average temperature for March overall.
We won't know until Saturday how the month stacks up against history. Baltimore missed the heat records seen elsewhere, but perhaps the month overall will be one for the record books.
I'll wait to crunch the numbers. Catching "The Hunger Games" at the theater this weekend put me in the mood for some more suspense.
How bad was the freeze where you are? Everybody's tulips survive OK?
