The Democrats of our state and those around us are showing their real colors. Their attack dogs howled about the treatment of undocumented children and how bad the administration was because they didn't care for them as the Democrats said they should. Now, in our state — a state run by the Democrats who have controlled all the spending for most of recent history — we have schools with no air conditioning and terrible learning conditions (“Hogan blasts Baltimore schools CEO, says she broke commitments on air-conditioning,” Sept. 5).
I've heard no cries of care and concern from the Democrats. We have children in Baltimore's foster care system being cared for as well or even more poorly as the undocumented, and I've heard no cries from the Democratic leadership. One would think that their care, if a real value, would be constant. It is not. It is convenient care. I'll bet that while they were berating the Trump administration for its failure to care for the undocumented, in all the cities of the Democratic plantation, children were not being cared for half as well.
It is time that voters learned not to trust this kind of political caring.
