Pimlico is fine as is

I don’t get it. Why does the physical plant at Pimlico Race Course need to be torn down and rebuilt for the Preakness to stay in Baltimore (“How to keep Preakness in Pimlico,” May 17)?

I’ve gone to the infield for years. Many with more cash and different attitudes go to the grandstands or the clubhouse. I’ve never heard anyone say I’m not coming back to the Preakness unless they fix this dump.

We don’t come for the physical plant. We come for the excitement and the party. Let the good times roll — and keep them rolling.
