In the midst of all the violent deaths in our city, it is easy for someone to get lost and forgotten. The second anniversary of the murder of Marcus Edwards is Sept. 19. He was killed at 10 p.m. on that Monday night in 2016 at the corner of Loch Raven Boulevard and Woodbourne Avenue (“Prayers for Marcus Edwards,” Sept. 14, 2017). He was a student at Morgan, wanted to be a police officer, and taught Sunday school at his church.
Our church has not forgotten him. We pray for his family.
