Endorsement not worth paper it's printed on

I feel demoralized by your endorsement of Larry Hogan for governor (“Sun endorsement: Hogan for Maryland governor,” Oct. 24). You have failed to represent Baltimore City. Governor Hogan is not a friend to the city. He has turned his back on city needs including public safety and education. His ads are nonsense and myth. He takes credit for things he had little to nothing to do with.

Your choice is embarrassing and wrong. It’s past time for Maryland to elect a person of color as governor. For a paper that represents a city with 80-plus percent African American population, you should be leading that charge. I hope the readers of your paper ignore your recommendation. It’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.
