What has 30 years of Reaganomics brought us?

Thank you Dan Rodricks for your insightful commentary ("A man out of tune with the times," Jan. 23). It was a perfect review of Reaganomics 30 years later. A world of huge disparity, where those who became rich by living in this great country don't want to pay their fair share. Shame on them.

Now the one-percenters want the presidency again. Isn't that the fox watching the hen house? They are already discussing ridding us of that pesky Social Security. Why not, they and theirs won't need it, and who cares about the other 99 percent anyway?

As for me, I want to pay my fair share to keep America strong. All of us should.
