Do what is right for children [Letter]

Jonathan David Farley, shame on you ("#Sendthemback," July 22). Your vitriol against Central American children, liberals and proponents of the Dream Act drips from every sentence in your attack on children who are unable to protect themselves.

You may have been a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar, but your inarticulate and diffuse argument is more akin to the tantrum of a disappointed narcissist who still believes that he is the center of the universe and that suffering human beings are simply "others" who have no place in his vision of the world. Instead, may the United States do what is moral and just — find a humanitarian solution for threatened children.
