Not all men want to control women [Letter]

I'm sure there is a lot of push back on Susan Reimer's column about manly entitlement ("#YesAllWomen live it, May 29). I prefer the reasonable route rather than the emotional. I would agree with her entire piece except for the last sentence: "men feel entitled to power over women.

All Ms. Reimer had to do was insert the word, "some," at the beginning of the sentence and I would nod my head in agreement. In fact, we could all benefit if that word was inserted more often whether in front of "gay" or "black" or "Catholic." All these categories contain a heterogeneous group of people. As soon as we lump them all together there is trouble.
