Former Maryland Gov. Marvin Mandel and wife Jeanne hold up issues of the Evening Capital Newspaper in Annapolis, Md. One newspaper headline reports his 1977 conviction and the newer one his conviction being reversed. The full court later that year affirmed his convictions.
