Former presidential candidate and Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley will hit the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire this weekend.
O'Malley will hold a happy hour at an Irish bar in Philadelphia on Saturday and will hold subsequent rallies in Allentown and Scranton. He will also campaign with former Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis in several stops in New Hampshire.
The events, which will take place as Republicans begin gathering in Cleveland for their convention, mark the second time O'Malley has stumped for Clinton since dropping out of the race for the Democratic nomination. He appeared in Iowa for Clinton in June.
Early in the contest, O'Malley was considered a possible candidate for a Cabinet post in a Clinton administration. But his once close relationship with the Clinton family has been hard to assess this year. O'Malley waited until early June to endorse Clinton.
