6. (6) Glenelg (2-1-2 county, 4-1-2 overall)

The Gladiators suffered their first loss of the season in their lone game of the week, suffering the, 3-0, defeat against Reservoir. It was only the second time all season Glenelg was shutout, as it averaged more than two goals per game heading into the contest. It was an anticipated matchup for Glenelg, facing its toughest test thus far going up against one of the county’s best in the Gators. But Reservoir was able to control the midfield, which gave them the advantage in the game. The Gladiators can bounce-back with a huge game coming up at Howard. The Lions have suffered just one county loss thus far, and for a young up-start team like Glenelg a win over the Lions would be a huge statement victory. Up next: Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Howard.
