3. (3) Glenelg (3-1, 7-2)

Back-to-back overtime losses motivated the Gladiators to prove their status in the league. They’re going to be a tough team to beat come playoff time because of how impressive they are defensively. They have the most imposing defense in the county, which is led by maybe the best defender in senior Caroline Kwon. Glenelg is allowing less than seven goals per game, which includes two goals allowed in extra time. Sophomore Maddie McSally is really coming into her own since winning the starting job in net at the beginning of the season. She will be a huge x-factor moving forward for the Gladiators. Up next: Wednesday vs. Chesapeake
