6. (9) Mt. Hebron (8-8, 9-9)

The Vikings have had the most up and down season than any team and have suffered some tough losses as of late. Entering this week, they won just one of five games, but collected two more victories against Marriotts Ridge and Hammond. Mt. Hebron survived a late surge from the Mustangs on Feb. 17 and came away with a 46-43 win, as junior guard Shane Devine led the way, finishing with a team-high 20 points. Against the Golden Bears, the Vikings limited Hammond’s two leading scorers, Shawnice King and Imani Reid, to a combined 14 points. Devine and senior forward Peyton LeConte were the catalysts for the team offensively, recording 11 and 12 points, respectively in the 54-46 win.
