4. (4) Long Reach (14-5, 15-15)

After going in a little slump midway through the season, the Lightning have gotten back on track as they end regular season play. They extended their winnings streak to five games after getting wins over Hammond, Oakland Mills and River Hill this week. Long Reach beat all three teams with a combined score of 177-119 and are getting stellar play from its young starters in sophomore Kiana Williams and freshmen Lyric Swann and Arianna Briggs-Hall. Williams has led the team all season and is a prime candidate for Player of the Year honors, but it's the development of Swann and Briggs-Hall that has put the Lightning peaking at the right time.
