Prince George’s County Sheriffs arrested Laurel resident Gregory Ross Nov. 29 for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery at an apartment complex in the 7900 block of Crows Nest Court in October.

The Laurel Police Department received an arrest warrant for Ross on Nov. 8. According to the warrant, Ross and another suspect allegedly robbed a man inside his apartment at gunpoint on Oct. 20. Police said they believe Ross pointed a handgun at the victim, demanded money and then ran away.

The warrant states that the victim owed Ross money for narcotics — a transaction that occurred sometime in September.

Sheriff department deputies found Ross at a hotel in the 3500 block of Old Annapolis Road on Nov. 29 and took him into custody. Ross was taken to the Upper Marlboro Department of Corrections and charged with robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft between $100 and $1,500.

No attorney was listed for Ross.
