College students from Laurel achieve in academics and sports

The following students from Laurel were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Massachusetts, in Lowell: Christen Jensen, majoring in psychology, and Benjamin Prada, majoring business.

The following students from Laurel were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Coastal Carolina University, in Conway, S.C.: Meagan Casto, a post undergraduate majoring in health promotion; Daniel McCann, a freshman majoring in communication; and Taylor Williams, senior majoring in communication.

Addison Craig, a sophomore majoring in middle level education from Laurel, was named to the president's list for the fall semester at Coastal Carolina University, in Conway, S.C.

Michael Sullivan, of Laurel, was named to the honor roll for the fall term at Washington and Lee University, in Lexington, Va.

William Tingley, of Laurel, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Champlain College, in Burlington, Vt. Tingley is majoring in game programming.

The following Laurel students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Salisbury University, in Salisbury: Jenna Brewer, Lauren Feighner, Paul Grabow, Ruth Heying, Frank Hinzman, Jessica Holt, Eric Kasprzyk, Margaret Lawrence, Michael Mullens, James Peterson and Nina Ross.

The following Laurel students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Frostburg State University, in Frostburg: Valentina Amaris Villa; Robert Brusberg, with distinction of 4.0 grade point average; Tyler Harmon, with distinction of 4.0 grade point average; Hannah Howard; Elizabeth Jarrell; Allison Kevan, with distinction of 4.0 grade point average; Ian Kirksey; and Erienne McEldowney.

The following Laurel students were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Saint Joseph's University, in Philadelphia, Pa.: Natalie Domaas, international relations major; Colleen Monagan, marketing major; and Danielle McCants, psychology major.

Dylan Haversack, of Laurel, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Ga.

Oluwaseun Omolana, of Laurel, and a Stevenson University track and field team member, competed in the Orange and Maroon Classic hosted by Susquehanna. He excelled during the 200 meter dash, finishing with a time of 24.86 seconds and taking 15th place overall.
