The Town Grill at Foster’s Country Store was once just a small counter in the back of a Lisbon gas station.
“The Town Grill became the unofficial town hall of Lisbon. It was the gathering place for local farmers, equestrians and other community residents and travelers,” says Town Grill’s general manager, Howard Lasky.
In April, the barbecue restaurant opened its doors in a building that had operated as a country store for decades, promising the same family atmosphere but with expanded dinner platters and hours, beer and wine, and plenty of seating.
The decor includes remnants of Howard County history and mismatched shabby-chic furniture.
“We’re going to expand with outdoor seating and possibly even add a pavilion for local events,” Lasky says.
