Aww Baby Organics brings eco-friendly kids' products to Savage Mill

For Howard Magazine

With a focus on eco-friendly items, a children’s store that got its start in Baltimore has made the move to Savage Mill this spring. Aww Baby Organics carries organic cotton clothing for children from birth through size 4 in addition to nontoxic and eco-friendly toys made out of materials like recycled milk jugs. The store also sells natural teethers made out of rubber, stainless steel baby bottles and an assortment of cloth diapers. “My goal with the store is to raise awareness that you need to be conscious about what your child is eating, what they’re playing with and what you’re putting on them,” says owner Marsha Barracato. “I think we should be going back to more natural ways of caring for our children instead of using harsh chemicals in our everyday life.”
