Three arrested inside Elkridge Elementary [Howard Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. Descriptions of perpetrators are included only when the description makes identification possible.


Montgomery Road, 7000 block, 10:28 p.m., Aug. 4. Three people arrested inside Elkridge Elementary, several others fled. Drug paraphernalia discovered.

Savage/North Laurel

Covered Wagon Drive, 9700 block, between July 26 and 10:22 p.m. Aug. 2. Front door kicked open; nothing reported stolen.


Trotter Road, 5600 block, between 8 p.m. July 28 and 9:30 a.m. July 30. Signs of forced entry to home discovered. No property missing.

Western County

Marriotsville Road, 1400 block, 7:40 p.m., July 29. Three people seen inside home, arrested

East Columbia

Blue Pool, 8900 block, between 2 and 8:30 p.m., Aug. 3. Victim returned home to find sliding door ajar. Cash, house keys and documents stolen.

Hayshed Lane, 8500 block, 1:07 p.m., Aug. 3. Bike and helmet stolen from garage.

North Penfield Road, 9400 block, between 7 p.m. Aug. 2 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 3. Bike stolen from open garage.

Delphinium Court, Woof River Lane, Herbert Drive, Racegate Run, Aug. 2. Five vehicles broken into, four were left unlocked. Clothing, cash, knife and computer stolen.

Spinning Seed, 6900 block, 3:35 a.m., Aug. 1. Two people told police they were attacked by six assailants as they left party.

Cradlerock Way, 7200 block, 12:10 a.m., Aug. 1. Victim approached by large group of juvenile males, pushed off bike. Assailants fled.

Rainleaf Court, 10500 block, between 2:30 and 4:50 p.m., July 31. Multiple items stolen from residence.

Stevens Forest Road, 5700 block, 10:10 p.m., July 29. Victim approached by two people, threatened with handgun. Money taken.

West Columbia

Hickory Ridge Road, 10400 block, 9 a.m., July 29. Multiple laundry machines damaged, cash stolen from Bluffs Apartments

Cross Fox Lane, 10500 block, 11:28 a.m. July 29. Multiple laundry machines damaged, cash stolen from Cross Fox Apartments.
