Police: Man exposes himself to girls near AMC Columbia

Two girls are reporting that a man exposed himself to them outside of the AMC Columbia Movie Theater in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway on Sunday, according to Howard County Police.

Police said detectives are investigating if the incident is linked to a report of a man exposing himself to a group of young girls inside the Mall in Columbia, which is located adjacent to the theater, in January.

Both incidents occurred on a Sunday afternoon.

Police said two young girls were at the crosswalk by the movie theater when they saw a man inside a car. Thinking he was waving them to cross the road, the girls started to cross the road when the driver lifted himself off his seat and exposed his genitals, police said.

The two girls reported the incident to a parent, who called police.

The suspect description provided by police matches the photos released of the suspect in the prior indecent exposure.

Two weeks after the incident, police released five additional photos of the suspect in the indecent exposure incident at the Mall.
