30-second timeout with ... Tommy Brenton, Stony Brook men's basketball guard

River Hill grad Tommy Brenton, currently a senior men's basketball player at Stony Brook University, was named the America East Fan’s Choice Player of the Year earlier this week. The 6-foot-5 co-captain for the Seawolves finished the regular season averaging 8.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists a game and helped guide the team to a regular season conference title — the program’s third in the last four seasons. He will be leading Stony Brook when it takes the floor Saturday in the first round of the America East Championship Tournament against eighth-seeded Binghamton at 6 p.m.

Tommy recently took a few minutes to catch up with us about some of his interests off the court.
