Columbia Pizza Hut robbed at gunpoint [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. Descriptions of perpetrators are included only when the description makes identification possible.

East Columbia

Dobbin Road, 6400 block, 9:39 a.m. June 1. Victim jogging along footpath encountered man walking in opposite direction, who exposed himself.

Goodhunters Ride, 4:42 p.m. May 21. Victim walking on footpath approached by two men, one with pocket knife, who demanded money, phone and shoes.

Cloudleap Court, 8700 block, 10:31 p.m. May 30. Victim walking approached group of five to six unknown men. Victim started to run and was chased by two men, one with a gun, who demanded money. Men ran off after seeing bystanders. Nothing stolen.

Minstrel Way, 7100 block, 10:30 p.m. May 28. Gunman approached Pizza Hut employee outside business and threatened him with gun. Gunman forced employee inside business and demanded money from second employee. Cash stolen.

Tamar Drive, 8800 block, 8:36 p.m. May 28. Victim approached by five or six men as he walked into apartment complex. Two threatened victim with gun and demanded money. Victim fled. Nothing stolen. No injuries.

Quarry Bridge Court, 9500 block, between 7:30 p.m. May 23 and 10:45 a.m. May 28. Entry gained to property by forcing open gate. Motorcycles stolen.

West Columbia

Settler Place, 5600 block, 10:22 p.m. May 31. Victim approached by three men who assaulted him. Wallet stolen. Men fled.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 9:22 p.m. May 28. Victim was approached by man in parking lot, forced to the ground and purse stolen. Frelin A Mejia, 18, of Margrove Mews Street in Columbia, charged with robbery, unlawful possession of mace with the intent to injure, concealing a dangerous weapon, second-degree assault and theft

Freetown Road, 6400 block, 9:55 a.m. May 27. Two masked men attempted entry to Howard Bank. Employee locked door. Nothing stolen.
