College festival Drama Learning Center hosts a Theatre College Festival from noon to 3 p.m. at 9130 Red Branch Road in Columbia. Representatives from American, Frostburg, Towson and Stevenson universities, as well as Goucher College and Howard Community College, will attend to inform prospective students about their theater departments and auditioning processes. Bike riding The Columbia Association's annual BikeAbout takes place, beginning at 9:30 a.m. In addition to the bike-riding event, which goes through Town Center, Wilde Lake, Oakland Mills, Long Reach and Owen Brown, the organization offers a walking tour and a post-ride/walk celebration that includes fitness activities, a bike rodeo, bike repair clinics and more. Registration begins at 9 a.m. after an opening ceremony. Walkers leave on the two-mile walking tour at 11 a.m. Other activities begin at 11:30 a.m. Information: 410-715-3103.

Chamber Music Columbia Orchestra members, cellist Jason Love, concertmaster Brenda Anna and pianist Nancy Smith present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 6800 Oakland Mills Road in Columbia. Also, tickets for the orchestra's Spring Raffle will be available. Raffle tickets are five for $20. Drawing takes place at the orchestra's season finale May 22 at the Jim Rouse Theatre. ‘Taste of Wilde Lake' Annual event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. and features crafts, entertainment, a kids art contest, belly and modern dance demonstrations, a watermelon-eating contest, food and more.
