Andrea brings lots of rain, minor flooding and some downed trees to Harford

Minor storm damage was reported from the remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea in Harford County, where it rained steady most of the day.

As early as 7 a.m., Carsins Run in the 600 block of North Gate Road in Aberdeen was reported to be overflowing, according to a damage summary report from the Harford County Emergency Operations Center.

Also Friday morning, the 700 block of Girard Street in Havre de Grace was flooded and inaccessible, and trees were reported down on Furnace Road a half mile from Route 152 and at Franklinville Road and Sycamore Drive in Abingdon, closing the road.

The rest of the damage wasn't reported until after Friday afternoon.

J&K; Trailer Park Road, near Post Road and Aztec Street in Aberdeen was reported flooded, but was still passable shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Electrical lines were down in the 5300 block of Rocks Road in Pylesville; the owners smelled burning inside the home around 4:05 p.m.

James Run Road was in danager of overflowing onto Philadelphia Road around 4:25 p.m. and Maryland State Police notified State Highway Administration to have someone determine if the road needed to be closed.

Trees were down and smoking wires were down on it in the 1700 block of Trappe Church Road in Darlington around 4:45 p.m. and a tree was down partially blocking the 300 block of Osborn Parkway in Forest Hill after 6:15 p.m.

A tree was down and blocking both lanes of Red Bridge Road between Clermont Mill and Fawn Grove roads around 7:15 p.m. and wires were down, but weren't sparking or arcing, at Castleton and Berkley roads in Darlington.
