The North Harford Hawks won on the road Thursday night, overcoming a halftime deficit to edge out the Harford Christian Eagles, 55-49.
The visiting Hawks trailed, 21-19, at the halftime intermission, and were behind, 34-27, in the third quarter before head coach Jeff Burrows said his team "woke up."
Leading the North Harford charge was Brock Hurley, who had 25 points, 12 rebounds and six steals.
Madison Varvaris posted six points and three assists in the victory, while Nic Hammer came through with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists. North Harford's Ryan Feiss notched six points and four steals.
The Hawks had a tough night at the charity stripe, hitting just 18 of 42 free throws.
With the win, North Harford (2-5 Chesapeake) improved to 7-8 overall.
