Edgewood churches organizing Back to Church Sundays

The 12 churches of the Edgewood Ministerium, a group of churches from all denominations, are banding together to promote Back to Church Sunday in Edgewood this weekend.

Sunday, Sept. 30, will serve as a great opportunity for neighbors to come back to church or experience church for the first time. Members understand it can be easy to get busy and out of the habit of going to church, so Back to Church Sunday is a chance for individuals and families to see what it's all about and perhaps find their own church family.

Guests will be welcomed, but not overwhelmed. Most churches have programs for the kids and nursery for babies, but they are optional. If it makes parents or kids more comfortable, they may enjoy the service together.
