Deputies investigating shooting in Edgewood

Harford County sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting in Edgewood late Wednesday evening.

Deputies responded to Edgewater Drive at Fisherman's Lane in Edgewater Village around 10:15 p.m. and found a 22-year-old man lying on the ground, according to a news release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Tarez Kwame Williams had been shot in the leg and was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, according to the sheriff's office. He has since been released, from the hospital.

The sheriff's office did not have any other information available Thursday afternoon.
