Bel Air High HOPE Club helps out

Editor:

During the recent Thanksgiving weekend, more than 60 students from the Bel Air High School HOPE Club donated in excess of 150 hours of their time in supporting the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance's sixth annual Festival of Trees at the Bel Air Armory.

These students made a significant impact to the success of the Festival in raising a historic amount of money for the Upper Chesapeake Health Cancer Life Net to assist families in their fight with cancer.

Their friendly demeanor, willingness and enthusiasm to complete necessary tasks well represented the class of students at Bel Air High School. The membership of the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to the HOPE club and its sponsor, Ms. Christina McDonough. CCA looks forward to future partnerships with the HOPE Club of Bel Air High School.
