Drug dog scan conducted at Fallston Middle School

No illegal drugs or tobacco was found during a drug dog scan at Fallston Middle School Tuesday.

The scan, done as part of the school system's commitment to keeping illicit drugs out of the schools, was done using a police dog under the direction of the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The building scan involved 344 lockers. The 25-minute scan (8:25 to 8:50 a.m.), supervised by four deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office, one drug dog, two school administrators and the school system's Coordinator of Safety and Security, resulted in two alerts that produced no controlled dangerous substances or tobacco.
