Peter and Carol Zapf, of Edgewood, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year with a renewal of vows in St. Lucia. They were married on Sept. 9, 1961 at St. Mildred Church in Baltimore. They are the parents of Jennifer (Tom) Mentzel of Bel Air and Jason (Shawn) Zapf of Bel Air and have five grandchildren.
