The U.S. U-19 Girls Lacrosse National Team is training at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Creswell this week, and three local lacrosse stars are part of it.
Recent C. Milton Wright graduate Alyssa Blevins is a player on the team, while John Carroll lacrosse coach Krystin Porcella (John Carroll '94) is the head coach and Jennifer Chumley-Pfeiffer (Bel Air '00) is a the goalkeeper coach.
The U.S. team will be in action Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. versus NEMS, a local group of talented lacrosse players. On Thursday a players clinic will be held between 7 and 9 p.m., while Friday the U.S. Team will battle MD United, another talented club team. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
