The Upper Chesapeake Chorus is a small chorus of 48 women, but the group recently won first place in regional Sweet Adelines International competition over larger choruses.

The Upper Chesapeake Chorus won in Region 19, which is all of the Sweet Adelines choruses in Maryland, Delaware, southern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey which totals about 30 choruses.

Some of the ladies in the chorus have been competing in our chorus for more than 20 years and this was a wonderful reward for them.

The chorus' master director, Rick Taylor, was as excited as the members.

Women singers are invited to attend chorus rehearsals and meet the members.
