Elmer Andreas Galdamez, of Glen Burnie, died at the scene. He was 24.
He was trapped 30 feet in the air between the fallen limb and the tree's trunk, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.
The accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Shanwick Road, authorities said.
