A 43-year-old woman was shot in the arm with a shotgun by her boyfriend in Darlington Sunday, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies were called at 11:40 a.m. to the 1500 block of Robinson Mill Road, where the shooting happened, the sheriff's office said.
The victim was taken to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Department, where she was stabilized and airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with non-fatal injuries, the sheriff's office said.
The 46-year-old boyfriend was arrested at the Robinson Mill Road home, the sheriff's office said. He was not identified, and the circumstances of the shooting, including the motive, were not released Sunday.
