Police: Man stabbed by son in Aberdeen parking lot

A man was stabbed in the chest by his son outside an Aberdeen shopping center Wednesday afternoon, Aberdeen police said.

Officers were called at 3:47 p.m. to the Aberdeen Shopping Plaza, off Route 40, where they found a man with a stab wound to his chest. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, but his condition was not known Wednesday night, police said.

The man's son was arrested after the incident, but police did not immediately release the name of the victim or his son.

Witnesses told officers that the man was stabbed after an argument, police said.
