North Harford, C. Milton Wright set for field hockey showdown

The stage is set.

North Harford and C. Milton Wright field hockey teams will battle Wednesday night in Pylesville for the UCBAC Chesapeake Division championship.

The game, scheduled for 6:45 p.m., was set up by both teams winning division games Monday.

North Harford (5-0, 11-0) won at Rising Sun (1-4, 2-7), 6-2, after leading at the half, 2-1.

Ariel Limpert scored three goal’s to pace the Hawks to their 11th straight win. Ava Schmidt added two goals and Brooke Ciampaglio tallied one.

Kelsie Collier dished out two assists and Limpert had one as well.

In goal, the Hawks played two goalies with Julia Foster making three saves and Madison Murdy making one.

Mustangs nip Bobcats

CMW’s (4-0, 8-1) win came at home, a 2-1 victory over Bel Air (3-2, 7-2).

Olivia Hennessey and Annie Keele scored a goal each for Mustangs with assists from Sam Aljets and Hennessey.

Bailey Springer scored for Bel Air.

Elks blank Warriors

Havre de Grace (1-6, 1-10) was shut out, 6-0, Monday by visiting Elkton (4-0,l 4-2) in Susquehanna Division play.

Warriors goalie Sidra Wheeler finished with 19 saves.

Hawks beat Huskies

North Harford was a 4-1 winner over visiting Patterson Mill (2-3, 6-6-) Thursday in Chesapeake play. The Huskies led 1-0 at the half.

Limpert and Schmidt provided the Hawks scoring with two goals apiece. Collier added an assist.

Molly Egan scored the lone goal for Patterson Mill.

In goal for the Hawks, Foster made six saves, while the the Huskies played two keepers. Natalie Burke made seven saves and Faith Treptow had three.

Warriors get first win

Havre de Grace recorded its first win of the season Thursday, edging host Perryville, 2-1, in Susquehanna play.

Bailey Swart scored both goals in the win. The first goal was assisted by Jules Eder and Wheeler, while the second goal had assists from Peyton DeLeva and Peyton Zimmerman.

Warriors goalie Micah Jacobs made six saves.
