Strokes were needed Wednesday to settle the field hockey game between Havre de Grace and host Aberdeen.
The Eagles (3-1, 4-3) outscored the Warriors (0-4, 0-7), 4-3 in strokes to win the UCBAC Susquehanna Division game, 3-2.
Jessica Fulp, Kaitlyn Hall, Shianne Taylor and Layla Gagne notched goals for Aberdeen in the stroke phase, while Alex Tomarchio, Micah Jacobs and Peyton Zimmerman had stroke goals for Havre de Grace.
In regulation play, Gagne had both goals for the Eagles. Gwen DeLeva, assisted by Bailey Swart and Payton DeLeva had goals for Havre de Grace.
Aberdeen goalie Gwyneth Steel had 13 saves and Zehra Essakhi had six saves for the Warriors.
Bel Air (6-1) hosted Liberty Tuesday night in non-league action and won, 2-1.
Scoring for Bel Air were Madison Conroy and Julian Vazquez, both unassisted. The lone goal for Liberty was scored by Heidi Ellis, assisted by Riley Perdoe.
Hawks still perfect
North Harford (3-0, 7-0) beat host North East (0-3, 3-4), 4-1, Tuesday in Chesapeake Division play.
Ava Schmidt scored twice for the Hawks, while Kelsie Collier and Zoe Mikles added a goal apiece. Kaylyn Jennings scored the goal for the Indians.
Meridith Price and Brooke Ciampaglio had assists for the Hawks and Jordan Edwards added an assist on the North East goal.
In goal, Madison Murdy made two saves for the Hawks and Erika Schmidt had eight saves for the Indians.
North Harford led, 3-0, at half.
