Editor:

Professor James Francis Galbraith, retired from Harford Community College and his deceased wife, Dr. Kathleen Ann Galbraith, a pioneer in healthcare education have fout children. Their Daughter Allison has stepped up to carry on her parents love of people.

I first met Allison in February of this year at an event where she talked about running for congress. I walked away thinking she was a very good person, although not a very good candidate. About a month or so later, I heard Allison was going to announce her candidacy for the Congress seat in the 1 51 District of Maryland. When Allison spoke, and continued to share why she was running, I saw a fire in the belly of a woman who loved and cared for people just like her parents. What a transformation in such a small period of time.

New in the county from Virginia where I got on a first name bases with Senators, Mark Warner, Jim Webb, Tim Caine and Governor Terry McAuliffe, I knew what the typical politician sounded like. This is not evident in Allison Galbraith. Allison is totally from a different type of politician. The love, caring, change she wants to bring to congress is the new generation of thinking people of change for the better

Please do not take my word for it. As this year 2017 ends, may all make a New Years resolution to meet and speak with Allison Galbraith before the June primary and the November general election.
