Editor:

As a Harford County Public School teacher for the last 21years, I urge all Harford County voters to reelect Judge Paul Ishak and Judge Larry Kreis this November. Please support these extremely qualified sitting judges on the bench.

As a close friend of Judge Kreis for many years, I have seen his dedication to both children and education. I had the pleasure of serving with him on the Board of Directors to The Wiessner Foundation for Children, where he served for 21 years. During his tenure, many grants were given to nonprofit organizations in Maryland that directly benefit children. He also served on the Board to The Highlands School for 9 years. His leadership helped with the building of their new school.

Judge Kreis has also been active in schools, volunteering his time as an Attorney Coach for the Edgewood High School Mock Trial Team, teaching our future adults how the legal system works. Due to his dedication, he was awarded both the Governor's Volunteer Service Award and was Harford's Most Beautiful People Award Nominee for his work with schools in 2000. He also served as a high school mentor during his time at the Office of the Attorney General and was also appointed Chair of the State Council of Child Abuse and Neglect by Governor Ehrlich .

Besides his incredible track record with education, he has also coached many children in the Fallston and Bel Air communities in basketball, soccer, and baseball as well as serving on the Board of Directors to the Humane Society Harford County Board for 11 years, where they were able to build a new shelter in Harford County.

Please vote for the current sitting Judges Ishak and Kreis in November. They have the judicial experience, dedication, and temperament that Harford County needs.
