Four shot in separate incidents late Tuesday, early Wednesday

A man was killed and three other people were shot in four separate incidents Tuesday and early Wednesday in Baltimore, police said.

The man was shot about 9:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Presstman Street in West Baltimore's Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood, near the Gilmor Homes housing project. Police said he was shot in the neck and he died in the hospital shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Around 12:20 p.m. officers went to the 2400 block of North Monroe Street in the Mondawmin neighborhood where they found a man who had been shot in the left buttock, police said.

In West Baltimore, a woman was shot in the leg Tuesday evening, and her injuries were not expected to be life-threatening, police said.

The woman was shot in the 2400 block of Madison Avenue in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood about 8 p.m., police said. Officers are looking for two men in connection with the attack, police said.

About 20 minutes later, officers went to Maryland General Hospital to investigate a report of someone who had walked in suffering a gunshot wound, police said. The officers spoke to a 24-year-old man who was suffering a graze to his lips, according to police.

The man said he was standing outside the Mini Mart in the 600 block of Laurens Street in the Upton neighborhood when a blue minivan with tinted windows pulled up and someone inside fired a gun, police said. Beyond that, police described the victim as "very uncooperative."
