Man shot by friend in Parkville parking lot

Baltimore County Police said a man was shot by a friend in a parking lot late Tuesday.

One man is recovering at a hospital after he was shot by an acquaintance late Tuesday in Parkville, police said.

The men met just before 11 p.m. in the parking lot of the Parkway Crossing Shopping Center in the 2400 block of McClean Boulevard, police said. At some point after meeting, one of the men shot the other "at least one time" in the lower body, police said.

The victim is expected to survive, according to police.

Police are searching for the gunman, who left the scene.
