Man, 37, indicted in fatal Windsor Mill shooting

A 37-year-old Baltimore man faces charges including first-degree murder in the March shooting death of another man in Windsor Mill.

Court records show Kevin Tryone Glover was indicted Monday in Baltimore County. He is accused in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Bernie Maurice Slater, also of Baltimore, who was found dead March 17 in a parking lot outside the Windsor Inn crabhouse.

His other charges include first-degree assault, conspiracy and firearm violations.

County police said surveillance footage shows Glover approaching the driver’s side of Slater’s vehicle across the street from the restaurant, shooting Slater and then fleeing with another person. Slater can be seen getting out of his vehicle and crossing the street, then collapsing in front of the Windsor Inn, police said.

Police said they are still looking for the person seen with Glover, but did not release a description.

Glover did not have an attorney listed in the case. County police said he had previously been taken into custody for a probation violation connected to a 2015 DUI offense.
