Two people were shot in separate incidents Sunday night, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
At about 6:47 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at the 4000 block of Eierman Ave. in Northeast Baltimore’s Arcadia neighborhood. Officers found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to police.
Later, at about 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of Yale Avenue and Walrad Street near Mt. Saint Joseph’s High School in Southwest Baltimore’s Irvington neighborhood. Police found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
A preliminary investigation found the man was driving in the 400 block of Yale Ave. when he was shot in the back of the head. He crashed into two parked cars and came to a stop, according to police.
He was taken to a hospital and is listed in good condition, police said.
