2 men shot in Baltimore Tuesday; 2 previous homicides identified

Two men were shot in separate incidents in Baltimore Tuesday, according to police officials.

A 24-year-old man was shot in his leg around 8 p.m. on Liberty Road. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Hours earlier, police found a 47-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds near the intersection of West Fayette Street and Fremont Avenue. The victim was also taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

Police also released more information on two previous homicides.

Police found a dead body in the back yard of a vacant home in the 3100 block of Virginia Avenue on Monday morning. The victim was later identified as 29 year-old Brandon Neville.

They also provided an update about a 59-year-old man who was found in September suffering from trauma to the head. Tyrone Rogers, who was being treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital, died from his injuries on Nov. 1.

The medical examiner’s office ruled the incident a homicide Tuesday. Rogers was found in the 200 block of Luzerne Avenue on Sept. 19.
