Two killed, one injured in Baltimore Tuesday

Two people were killed and another man was injured in Baltimore on Tuesday, police said.

Micha Farrington, 29, was shot around 11:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Heaver St. in Barclay, police said. After officers arrived, the victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died.

Jermaine Cornish, 27, was fatally shot around 9:17 p.m. in the 5500 block of Clover Road near Pimlico Race Course, police said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died.

So far this year, 109 people have been killed in Baltimore.

Earlier in the day around 3:45 p.m., a 36-year-old man walked in to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim told police officers he was shot in the unit block of South Eden Street in Washington Hill.

Baltimore Police originally released incorrect locations for the two homicides that occurred Tuesday. They occurred in the 5500 block of Clover Road and the 400 block of Heaver Street.
